EXPERIMENTAL BRIDGE

Located at Pier 34 in Manhattan, New York, this project extends the urban waterfront to create a public park shaped by a personal vision of the civic experience. The design focuses on fostering community by choreographing a deliberate spatial sequence that transitions visitors from moments of quiet, isolated contemplation to active, communal engagement. By navigating these shifting thresholds of privacy and socialization, the extended pier transforms into a dynamic civic infrastructure that redefines how individuals interact with the waterfront, the city, and each other.
